What is a Sound Journey?
A Sound Journey is a deep listening experience of meditation and healing sound that invites you on an inner journey connecting your body, heart and mind.
The voyage begins with each person finding a comfortable position. After a few minutes of guided mindfulness, the healing tones begin to fill the air. The vibrations of the instruments including Himalayan and crystal bowls, chimes, gongs, drums, and voice hold you gently while your brain waves begin to slow and you enter a relaxed, dreamlike state.
When you unplug from the external noise and plug in to the resonant tones, you are able to access an expanded sense of awareness. This state of deep rest and relaxation encourages self-discovery and transformation.

You do not have to have previous meditation experience to enjoy a Sound Journey. It is different than traditional meditation, although it offers similar benefits and is often easier for beginners to navigate.

It is important that you nestle into a comfortable, supported position. Lying down does not work well for all bodies. You are welcome to sit on a cushion or chair if that works better for your body.

Please dress comfortably! You may feel chilly even on a warm day. Depending on the venue, mats and blankets may be provided for you, but feel free to bring a yoga mat, small blanket, eye pillow or anything else that will help you to feel more comfortable.
